How We Became Animal Lovers!

Woofs and Wags was founded in 2007 by Ann Marie and Liam McTigue. Being the proud owners of 3 Dogs, 3 Cats, a pet sheep and a miniature Pony called Charlie. We know a bit about proper animal care. We are both from farming backgrounds and have been involved in animal care from a very young age.

Ann Marie is also our resident Groomer. Prior to opening her own Grooming Parlour here at Woofs and Wags she worked for a time in a busy Grooming Practice in Galway City.

Edel Griffin whom we have known for a number of years joined the team fulltime in 2015. Liam and Edel look after the Kennels, ensuring that all of our guests get the loving and friendly care they deserve. Many of our customers return time and time again because of the welcoming atmosphere and commitment to care provided by Edel and the rest of the team.
